Eileen
Eileen Forlenza is a motivational speaker/leader/performer who has developed the concept of Causal Leadership, following twenty years of purpose driven leadership. Eileen masterfully blends entertainment and information to move your audience to think boldly. Pulling from her personal experience as a single parent and raising a child with disabilities, Eileen's powerful message of overcoming adversity has inspired audiences for over 20 years. Eileen gently encourages others to live each day as a Causal Leader, challenging us to pay attention to our contributions instead of our achievements.
Whether through a keynote presentation or workshop, Eileen will captivate your heart while invigorating your mind. Her story of personal triumph, braided with professional recognition allows her to engage with a variety of audiences.
Eileen was invited by President Obama to join him at the White House in recognition of her leadership on behalf of people with disabilities and was also named the 2010 Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women.
With passion to leave a legacy of positive change, Eileen is credited with developing the concept of Causal Leadership. Eileen is a community advocate, advisor and consultant promoting civic engagement and leadership, resulting in positive change within organizations, communities and families.
Eileen’s leadership skills coupled with her effective and unique presentation style has inspired and motivated audiences to think differently and courageously. Engaging her audience through life experiences of raising a child with disabilities, Eileen offers insight to embracing ALL people.
Eileen is a motivational speaker/leader/performer who is nationally recognized for her work in special education, corporate leadership and community engagement. In addition, Eileen spent many years in marketing in the cable television industry, specifically market programming for The Nashville Network (TNN), Country Music Television (CMT) and QVC. Her extensive experience also includes social entrepreneurship developing and implementing initiatives serving at-risk populations such as children with disabilities, siblings in foster-care, victims of domestic abuse, incarcerated women, as well as training a national school-based network of youth leaders. Eileen’s social marketing efforts have generated awareness in national forums such as People magazine, Family Support magazine and Oprah! Eileen’s powerful communication skill complemented by extensive content knowledge is an extraordinary package, resulting in compelling keynotes and workshops unlike any other speaker.
Eileen and her husband Scott enjoy the fun of their four children, including Holly their outgoing daughter with profound developmental disabilities.
